As a part of the Indian Culture many festivities are colorful especially when wedding season comes around. Last year as a wedding season came around I made cupcakes for a Dholki.
Dholki
is one of the ceremonies before the wedding, where the bride and her friends
and family get together for dancing and putting mehndi/henna on.
For
these cupcakes I made vanilla cakes and frosted them with bright colors and
used yellow pearls to top them off. on half of the cupcakes frosted henna
designs while on the other half I frosted them with bright colored swirl.
